Event freight has a fixed deadline, but the venue may allow only a narrow move-in window. Build the transport plan around the organizer’s freight instructions, marshalling arrangements and receiving contact. Do not treat the public event opening time as the truck delivery appointment.
Build a two-way inventory
Number display cases, fixtures and equipment. Record what must return after the event and what will be consumed or distributed. Put return labels and packing instructions where the dismantling team can find them. Keep critical small items with an assigned person instead of assuming they will be easily accessible inside a full container.
Separate venue services from road transport
Clarify who books dock time, unloads, moves goods to the booth and stores empty cases. Venue handling can be organized through a separate contractor. Coordinate the road transport proposal with your venue handling arrangements and entry permission.
Plan the collection after the event
Give dispatch a realistic ready-for-pickup time that includes dismantling and packing. Identify who can confirm that the load is ready and what happens if the event runs late. Request the return leg explicitly, including the final destination.
Driver Can Cargo reviews container road transport subject to route, equipment and date availability. Coordinate your packing, loading and receiving arrangements with the transport schedule. Provide the venue address and current logistics instructions before asking for a transport commitment.
